Noita Still Crushes

Noita is a platformer roguelike game that crushed the genre.
What Noita does, it does well.
Many people are still unsure what separates a roguelike from some other carefully designed platformer.
It's that the levels and game items are procedurally generated making every run different.
If a roguelike is done well, and Noita is, the gamer can play it for a long time before getting bored.
Noita is a complete indie success and that's because of the great work by Nolla Games.
An inside source revealed Noita has sold more than 1.5 million copies grossing almost $100 million.
There's no doubt there will be more Noita's in the future do to the great fan base that exists because of this classic indie title.
The game is made with pixel art that is very appealing.
The art is consisent and very good throughout.
Even the music is superb. So much so, that a steady fan base won't let it die.
Fans still love playing the large dark pixelated levels with their powers.
A large base of active players continue to enjoy their skilled Noita runs.
The player character can jump but also semi-fly.
You can progress through a level by melting, burning, freezing, and dissolving obstacles and enemies.
There are plenty of pixels on screen creating a satisfying scene as you fight your way through.
Noita is an extremely challenging game, and some gamers have said that it took them 60-80 hours to beat the first time.
Platformer fans are more likely to appreciate a grueling difficulty level, but in some genres that would be too upsetting for gamers.
Platformer fans are a different breed. Roguelike fans are too for that matter.
If it's easy, they typically move on quickly to another game, without as much appreciation for what they just accomplished.
The developer hit it out of the park with Noita fans.
This indie title is standing the test of time as a classic.
The game has garnered many loyal fans, many of which would like a new Noita.
The Noita fan base has not moved on yet, and it doesn't look like they will anytime soon.
